Purpose of this website
A Rotary District is, essentially, an administrative unit charged with providing services to the Rotary clubs which are its members.  This site is dedicated to providing service to the clubs and Rotarians of D9810.  Although it is not primarily aimed at the general public, all are welcome to view these pages.

DG Dr Daryl Moran launches his exciting 2022 Family of Rotary Conference.

The conference is to be held at Caulfield Racecourse on the 25th and 26th March 2022.
Its theme is 'Healthy World and Healthy People'. The conference will be online of the Friday night with inperson conference sessions and breakouts on the Saturday, concluding with a Gala Dinner which can be booked independentely of the conference.  There is an amazing line up of impressive keynote speakers.  More information can be found at https://dg9810for2021-22.org/conference-program/

Hybrid Meeting In a Box District Grant
DG Daryl Moran is  delighted to announce that the District Board has made funds available in two options to facilitate, encourage and support Rotary and Rotaract clubs in the operations of their Hybrid meetings.
Option 1
Below you will find a document outlining the TWELVE x $800 'Hybrid Meeting In a Box' packages that are available FREE to the first 12 clubs to submit a successful application when they open on the District 9810 website  Sunday 14th November at 4.00pm. Successful applicants in general will need to meet the following criteria; a. Are new to hybrid meeting technology. b. Can supply 3 - 4 members that are prepared to undertake on-line and in-person training in mid-January 2022. c. Are prepared to use hybrid meeting technology as their main, but not exclusive, means of conducting their club meetings and associated activities. 
Option 2
For those clubs that are already using hybrid technology, EIGHT x $400 grants are available to help them supplement and upgrade their current equipment. Please note again that applications for this grant can also be made on the District website, but only after 4.00pm Sunday 14th November. 
 
Clubs that miss out on either option will be placed on a 'Waiting List' in case further grants become available in the future.

Rotary Youth Leadership Seminar 2022 - District 9810/9820
January 17th - 22nd, 2022 will see the new RYLA Leadership Seminar held for participants aged 18-30 .
The 2022 program will be held in conjunction with District 9820.
 
The RYLA program has had an amazing history of inspiring the leaders of tomorrow by providing them with the tools to develop leadership, vocational and teamwork skills through in -classroom theory and outdoor activities during a 6 day residential program.
