“Caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. Community information series” - (4th November 2020)
A free series of six community workshops to support people who are caring for someone with a life limiting illness.
(You can attend all six or just the ones that interest you).
The majority of us wish to die at home. Alongside our amazing health care workers, having a good death at home, also relies on family members, friends and sometimes community members being part of the journey.
For many in a caring role, this can sometimes feel like you are trying to navigate a maze without a map. There are many questions, and it's not always easy to find the answers. The Be the Ripple project aims to provide non medical support to people with a life limiting illness who wish to remain at home, and the people caring for them. We do this through providing practical support, information and community education on dying and death.
During this workshop series each topic is offered at 1.30pm or 7pm on the same day and sessions run for 1.5 hours.
You can join in by yourself, with the person you are caring for, or with others you are caring with.
Sessions are offered using zoom and we can assist you to get set up. Please see attached brochure for more details.
