As you may recall, member of Sprinvale City Loc Lam was awarded an OAM earlier this year for his services to the community and especially to the Vietnamese community. Refer story here.Loc invited his Rotary friends along with friends from other areas of the community along with family to an afternoon of celebration at his home in Aspendale.
Not only was the event in honour of his award but it was also intended to draw attention to one of his areas of focus, namely the Vietnamese Museum currently in the planning stage.
Loc is passionate about this project and is one of it's Directors. Expect to hear more about this project as the Springvale City Club is going to support Loc and I'm sure will be seeking support from other Clubs in the District.
