A total of 21 Rotarians and partners from District 9810 attended the Rotary International Convention in Singapore in late May. The Convention was held in the facility adjacent to the spectacular Marina Bay Sands Hotel. I understand there were a total of some 15,000 attendees. The main plenary sessions were held in one room within the convention centre which could "only" accomodate 7,000 or so. Consequently, the opening session was split into two groups.
Then, each day would have one session in the morning followed a range of breakout sessions in the afternoon.
The House of Friendship was, as usual, spectacular. Many stands and exhibitions, entertainment and lots of connecting. Rotary in Action.
And guess who was one of the co MC's? None other than Haresh Ramchandani, the RIPPR for our Conference in Singapore.
I am aware of at least three people who ended up with Covid but can assure you we have recovered!
