Prof Arnold Dix on Australian Story
For those who attended our District 9810 Conference in Warrnambool you will recall that one of our more memorable speakers was Professor Arnold Dix.Whilst we compensated Arnold for journeying to Warrnambool, he most generously did not seek any fee for speaking. As he is a resident of Monbulk he simply requested that perhaps a contribution could be made to a local project on his behalf.
And this is what we've done. The Rotary Club of Monbulk will work with Arnold using funds provided by the District on a local project, hopefully establishing a long term collaboration with Arnold.
