‘Inspire Rotary’ is a fresh way to invigorate and inspire Rotarians. A unique training session modeled on the successful RYLA leadership seminar.

It will provide Rotarians invaluable leadership training and tools to create positive effective teams as well as nurture and create sustainable connections within our clubs, with Rotaract and our community.
 
 

2023 Inspire Rotary was held February 4th & 5th 2023 at Deep Creek Golf Club in Pakenham
Two full day time sessions were held over the weekend and included dinner on Saturday evening.
Participants received invaluable leadership training with a focus on teamwork.
The sessions included classroom training and practical teamwork activities.

Johanna Parker is an award-winning Australian-based, heart-fuelled and connection-led life, confidence and public speaking coach, international speaker and space holder, personal leadership maven, fear-dismantler, coach trainer, educator, strategist, communication expert and the founder of Heart Sparks (www.heartsparks.com.au), where, through a unique combination of heart, strategy and healing, she passionately supports both adults and adolescents worldwide to master their mindset, ignite their voice and build sustainable, purposeful lives with an unwavering sense of self-worth and pride.
With an extensive professional background in social work, crisis intervention, counselling, leadership, people management and project work for systemic change prior to her life work as a coach and speaker, Jo longs a world where we hold wholehearted agency over our lives, show greater authenticity in entrepreneurship and co-create with equity in our communities.
Her work has been featured in a range of print and online media, including RenegadeCollective, The Herald Sun, The Huffington Post, Pro Bono Australia, ELLE Magazine, theDaily Guru and Inspired Coach Magazine. She has appeared on countless podcasts, national radio broadcasts, online channels and on national television, where she has also been a strong campaigner against youth homelessness in Australia and for ending violence against women.
 
Rebecca has over a decade of experience in non-profit leadership and development. As a certified Gallup Clifton-Strengths Coach, Rebecca strongly believes in empowering people to create positive change in the world and has launched several initiatives in this pursuit. She is the Founding Chair of RYLA Oceania and the current Vice Chair of the Rotary Fellowship of Leadership Education And Development. Professionally, Rebecca works in Corporate Strategy in local government on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where she brings her strategic expertise into driving positive outcomes for her local community.
 
Rebecca has been an active member of the Rotary community since 2006, when she was selected to attend the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) and National Youth Science Week in South Africa, followed by RYLA and extensive Rotaract involvement. She has served in a number of senior roles including Rotary Club Charter President, District RYLA Director and Chair of Rotaract Australia. She currently sits on the Rotary International Strategic Planning Committee and is the Co-Chair of the inaugural Rotary International Youth Advisory Council. 

Ben is passionate about RYLA and the impact it has on the lives of young adults. Ben first did RYLA in 2014, and he’s grateful to have returned as a Team Leader and Program Director while in Rotaract, and he’s currently the RYLA Chair of his District program as a Rotarian.

Ben is also the Co-Founder of RYLA Oceania and the President of the Rotary Oceania RYLA Alumni Association (RORAA). These initiatives were created to foster greater connections between RYLArians and increase the opportunities for Alumni to continue their RYLA journey.

On a professional level, Ben owns his own business and also provides coaching for people to excel in their careers.
